Before any instructor goes live, Drivelo checks their state driving instructor authority, Working with Children Check, Public Liability Insurance, Comprehensive Motor Insurance & Vehicle Registration. We re-verify before each credential expires.
How much does a driving lesson cost on Drivelo?
Instructors set their own price. Most lessons range from $65 to $95 per hour, all inclusive. The price you see on the instructor's profile is the price you pay - no booking fees added at checkout.
How do I become an instructor on Drivelo?
Apply via the Become an Instructor page. We'll ask for your authority, WWCC, insurance, and vehicle details, then we review and approve within 5 business days.

Can I cancel a lesson?
Yes. Cancel more than 24 hours before your lesson and you'll be refunded in full. Between 2 and 24 hours, you'll receive a 50% refund. Under 2 hours, the lesson is non-refundable. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Are Drivelo instructors employees?
No. Drivelo Instructors are independent contractors who run their own businesses. Drivelo provides the marketplace - they provide the lesson.
